Creating successful relationships with clients and colleagues through the power of human connection & clarity of communication
My approach
I design and deliver corporate training sessions on leadership and professional development skills, ranging from a 45-minute breakfast briefing or lunch & learn to extended training programmes.
Core components include listening skills, powerful questions, managing emotion, exploring unconscious bias, adopting a growth mindset, becoming a ‘trusted adviser,’ personal and company values, deconstructing confidence, resilience, self-care strategies, congruent communication. As an applied theatre practitioner, sessions often include forum theatre as a dynamic and de-personalised vehicle for discussing difficult or sensitive issues
I also work with clients on Wellbeing & Resilience.
Working collaboratively with you to design and deliver experiential training enabling transformation to take place in the training room.

My sessions are experiential giving participants an opportunity to try out tools and techniques.
Listening
My client is committed to continual staff development. With recent new joiners, they felt it was a good time to look at how to maintain their excellent client service. We created an 8-week programme over 4 sessions. These explored listening skills, personal & company values, interactions with colleagues and dealing with difficult clients. These sessions were experiential including forum theatre, roleplay, drawing exercises and plenty of reflective discussion.
Connecting
This many sound familiar. My client found that almost everyone’s heart sank at the thought of networking. Not unusually, they were experts in their field, but uncomfortable with networking. We created a half-day session, including a forum theatre piece to shift from networking to having a conversation to connect.
Kindness
As my client approached a milestone company birthday and they continued to grow, it seemed to be an ideal time to revitalise their company values and reinforce their open and supportive work culture. We created a 90-minute programme on creating a positive work environment, rolled out company-wide in multiple sessions looking at the existing framework and using case studies and other interventions to explore acceptable and unacceptable behavior and produce a company charter to reflect these.

Lubna’s session was clear, exhilarating & engaging with everyone really understanding our objective. Lubna listened to our brief, understood our culture quickly & delivered to everyone easily with a warm, kind, friendly approach. She is extremely knowledgeable & calm and her personality enabled me to work well with her. I absolutely recommend her to others.

The trainees loved Lubna’s practical and engaging session on listening and questioning skills which they found to be very relevant not only for practice but also for every day.
Jane Moffatt, Course Manager at Law Society of Ireland
Lubna designed a session to enable our people to improve their networking skills and client relationships. The session could not have gone more smoothly, especially when having to deal with a large group of busy people, who have a tendency to want to get back to the office if not engaged. I would definitely recommend Lubna to anyone looking at similar sessions.
John Hull, Patent Attorney, Partner, Beck Greener
An engaging, witty, informative & authoritative session by Lubna, provided me with practical and easily implementable knowledge and strategies.
Sue Liburd MBE, Senior Executive Development, Human Capital Innovation
Lubna was fantastic and kept our rather young audience engaged throughout. She is eloquent and composed on stage. A great speaker that I'd be happy to recommend.
Veska Uzanova, HR Business Partner, Awin Global
Lubna is an excellent facilitator, she encouraged my team to understand our team dynamics in new ways, ultimately improving our communication and ability to work to achieve common goals. Lubna’s interpersonal skills-built trust while her command of her training program builds respect. I would have no hesitation in recommending Lubna to others.
